Optris’ Glass Inspection System for Glass Tempering

The new glass inspection system from Optris enables fast detection of temperature differences during glass hardening. This thus offers automatic quality monitoring and helps prevent product rejections.

The Top Down GIS 640 R system features temperature referencing through a sensor from below, along with automatic correction of emissivity for low-E and standard glasses. The system was designed specifically for process control in glass tempering machines.
