OSI Systems, a vertically-integrated manufacturer and designer of electronic products and elements for Security and Healthcare sectors, proclaimed that OSI Optoelectronics has been offered a multiple year award worth $3.9 million from a leading defense company for the manufacture of sensing devices.
OSI Optoelectronics’ sensing devices are widely exploited for a broad range of defense assistance and regulatory purposes for deployment in naval submarines and vessels, military ground vehicles, aircrafts, missiles, space shuttles and launch vehicles and guided weapons.
According to Deepak Chopra, President and Chief Executive Officer of OSI Systems said that they are highly pleased with this contract from a major OEM client and will supply their advanced light sensing devices to serve critical purposes in the defense fields.
OSI Systems has over 30 years of expertise in engineering and manufacturing, electronics and maintains offices and optoelectronics and aims at advancing its contract manufacturing and optoelectronics efficiency to standard end product markets.
