Lockheed Martin declared the joining of Brad Hicks to their Mission Systems and Sensors (MS2) trade. Washington-oriented, MS2 is a segment of the Electronic Systems market area with 16,000 employees, mainly in Canada, the U.S., and Australia.
Hicks will be joining as vice president of radar programs within the company’s Radar Systems business line. According to Carl Bannar, vice president of Radar Systems, Brad’s expertise will provide intensive missile and air defense system awareness to Lockheed Martin. His appointment will widen the radar technology platform and will deliver the clients with secure, economical products for satisfying their mission demands, Bannar added.
Hicks was employed as a consultant in the Monitor Group after his retirement from the U.S. Navy in 2009. He was posted as director of the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense program for the Missile Defense Agency. He held numerous command projects in his 33-year Navy service including USS Cape St. George’s (CG-71). Commanding officer. He acquired his bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville in international studies and finished his XXI Seminar program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
