Lockheed to Supply Mission Support Solutions for U.S. Army

Lockheed Martin has been offered a $45 million contract by the U.S. Army for the supply of mission support solutions for use in their BETSS-C target and surveillance system.

The BETSS-C represents Base Expeditionary Targeting and Surveillance Sensors-Combined, an association of smart, surveillance and reconnaissance, warfield command and defense systems having unique targeting, relentless surveillance and complete force safety provisions for the in-theater army. The BETTS-C system scrutinizes security by collecting video as well as intelligence data. The towers and aerostats of the systems frame the Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment system.

Lockheed Martin will deliver reliable, user-friendly, in-built systems comprising RAID towers to the army, based on the agreement, for detecting and performing significant security tasks. The operators will administer and detail the condition of the BETSS-C systems and its operations with the government officials and resource managers for effective accomplishment of all the in-built systems. The company work will be executed within United States and abroad and the training will be conducted at areas nominated by the U.S. government.
