HSI Sensing Introduces Steel Sensing Proximity Sensor Series

HSI Sensing, previously called Hermetic Switch Inc, a developer and producer of reed switches and other sensing technological products, has introduced the 11000 Series, a new and enhanced steel-sensing proximity sensor series.

This updated version is much more cost-effective and tough. It comes in three varied versions, depending on the side wherein the sensing target is situated. Its attributes include a double potting design using silicon-based epoxy and hard epoxy for internal switch protection and external environmental shielding capacities respectively; and a ¼ inch operating distance measurement.

This sensing solution surpasses all currently available products based on, price range, mass, quality and operating distance, and can be used for a number of applications in fields, such as agricultural machinery, industrial equipment, vehicles for entertainment, and so on.

According to David Posey, HSI Sensing’s President, the company was energized about the advancements and enhancements made to this product, and further stated that they would always strive to examine all their products, and update them with the latest cutting edge technological evolutions.

HSI Sensing conceptualized in the year 1968, provides custom-made, and regular sensing applications, to industries such as computer, fluid processing, aerospace, agricultural, medical, security, military, telecommunications and construction. Its products include a diverse range of defibrillators, hearing aids, burglar alarms, pacemakers, space shuttle functions and so on.
