EVT has declared that its new range of ES800 Check Sensors deciphers tasks related to optical testing, which the regular sensors are unable to solve. Due to multiple resolution features, these sensor systems recognize subtle patterns that go undetected by multi light barriers.
These business card sized, ultra compact sensors, possess high levels of efficiency, along with easy integration processes with the already existing systems. The software package is encapsulated in a 65 x 45 x 35 mm casing. All varieties of lightings and objectives can be attached to these sensors through a C-Mount access.
ES800 Check Sensors
These vision sensors are accessible in four resolutions, namely the ES800Check S with 640 x 480 pixel; ES800Check M with 1024 x 768 pixel; ES800Check L with 1280 x 1024 pixel and ES800Check XL with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixel, both as colored and monochrome sensors. They can be employed for tasks such as reading DMC/bar codes/OCR/OCV functions, attendance checks, pattern matching and also measuring distances.
A one-time configuration process involving a few simple steps using parameterizing software, such as CAD file (DXF) is sufficient for these sensors. Once configuration is completed, checking becomes independent and a PC is not needed.
The evaluating software of the sensor, amasses data regarding defects observed during production processes. The data thus gathered is instantaneously transmitted to the user via EyeView Protocol, and the output either comes as a good or bad signal, through an integrated 24 V PLC interface. If there are faults, the user can immediately identify the error source, and then go on to make the production process efficient and stable.
The Visualization program EyeMultiView, can present the results of 16 sensors at a time. The EyeDisplay solution facilitates display of images on a touch screen. The data thus measured can be used in business software packs such as SQL database, ORACLE or SAP, and thus are accessible anywhere, anytime inside the company. Its lightweight proportions (120g) and compact size makes it a very handy device.
