Materials Handling Sensors from SICK

SICK introduces the new automated material flows, sorting and storage processes solutions. The company’s broad series of industrial sensors used in material handling purposes, allows effective, speedy and secure material flow sensing.

The Laser Measurement Systems identifies the location of the HGVs that transports temporarily stocked containers from stacks to ships below the crane.

Packages should be delivered properly from a package distribution centre to the post office and for facilitating this purpose, a line scanner is enabled which examines the data in a bar code fixed at the package’s side. This Laser Measurement System having warning and shielding areas avoids clashes within the ship to shore crane and between other structures or the ship’s bridge.

The materials handling sensors are widely used in various pharmaceutical, cosmetics, electronics, solar, and chemical industries and in food and beverage, storage and conveyors, logistics, and automotive areas.
