Baumer Introduces Magnetic Cylinder Sensors

Sensor solutions provider, Baumer has introduced a next generation magnetic cylinder sensor called the MZTK 06P1013 for sensing the actual spot of pistons in pneumatic cylinders.

Baumer's Magnetic Cylinder Sensors

The latest cylinder sensors demonstrate improved durability and performance and can be used for C and T slots. The sensitivity of the sensors was maximized to generate a more accurate and reproducible switching features.

Each sensor is evaluated for its sensitivity before delivery. In addition, sensors are made strong by the utilization of upgraded materials. For instance, the cables produced by PUR enable the sensors to be used in oily conditions. The sensors are also resistant to salt-water conditions due to its enhanced strength.

The magnetic sensing technology eliminates moving components and thus increases the lifespan of the sensor product by minimizing wear. The MZTK 06P1013 series of sensors for T slots can be deployed rapidly and effortlessly in the slot from above. It eliminates cylinder disassembly process even if both front faces are having the installation panels.

The sensor can be fixed to all normal cylinder types because of the availability of wide range of mounting accessories. The sensors are produced in NPN or PNP and flylead or cable connector versions.
