Digital Airflow Sensor for Medical and Industrial Applications

The Zephyr digital airflow sensor recently launched by Honeywell is now being offered from the Mouser stock. The series of high accuracy airflow devices feature precise measurement within 2.5%.

The series helps users to measure presence or absence of airflows accurately. It can also measure various other non-corrosive gases prevailing in medical and industrial segments. The devices are highly stable while minimizing faults that occur because of thermal properties and null shift in order to offer precise measurements on a long term basis. The stability frequently removes the requirement for calibration of the system both immediately after the PCB has been installed and at regular intervals after installation. They feature constant high levels of precision and stability even after repeated use. The tough and non-corrosive enclosures having a stable substrate ensures that the devices are strong and adhere to the ISO 9001 specifications.

According to Keith Privett, vice president of IEP and test divisions, the calibrated and temperature compensated series of products enables design engineers to reduce component count related to signal processing, making each product both space and cost- efficient.
