AuthenTec is all set to present its latest smart sensors and mobile identity software, which will give a new dimension to embedded security and NFC mobile commerce.
The smart fingerprint sensor and other software will be displayed at the International CTIA Wireless 2011 exhibit and conference, which is scheduled to be held from 22 to 28th of March, at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando at Booth no: 3096.The new fingerprint sensors and software are capable of providing handy security functions and enhance the touch driven features in most of the mobiles. The highlighting feature is that they are compatible with the fingerprint enabled Android phones. AuthenTec has come up with Embedded Security Solutions that is designed to ensure mobile DRM content protection VPN security for NFC based Mobile commerce.
AuthenTec provides end-to-end embedded security solutions having two components namely fingerprint sensor hardware and driver identity management software. Handset makers, mobile operators and also rich content providers can be benefited through these security solutions. As many as 13 million such sensors have been shipped so far, which are embedded into various wireless devices. AuthenTec offers the smallest fingerprint matching chip, which can be fitted in AES850 mobile phones. They provide security solutions (including DRM Fusion), which are available as completely pre-integrated or downloadable versions compatible with Android and Apple iOS- based handsets. The embedded security software offered by AuthenTec has high end features like IPsec, VPN Client and QuickSec Mobile VPN for Android and other mobile phones.
