Industrial Scientific Launches Ventis MX4 Multi-Gas Detector for Industrial Environments

Industrial Scientific has developed a lightweight multi-gas detector, the Ventis MX4. Easily adaptable, the detector is compatible with Industrial Scientific’s gas detection solution, the iNet.

Ventix MX4

The Ventis MX4 is capable of detecting combustible gases (CH4/ LEL), up to four gases including oxygen and any two poisonous gases from H2S, CO, SO2 and NO2. The detector is suitable for constant personal monitoring in possibly harmful environments and restricted space monitoring and ensures a safe working environment in industries. Using the optional integral pump, the Ventis MX4 can collect samples from up to 100 ft in restricted spaces. In harmful conditions, the workforce can be alerted by strong vibrating audible alarm and bright LED visual alarm.

Users can select from a broad range of batteries, sensors, chargers and other devices. Without the integral pump, the lithium-ion battery allows up to 20 h of continuous monitoring. Overmold color options include safety orange or black for enhanced visibility.
