Evoluce Introduces Gesture Controlled Displays with Incorporated Three-Dimensional Sensors

I-VOLUCE is the latest addition to the segment of large size displays from Evoluce, which is controlled by gestures. A full high definition (HD) 46 inches screen is used, which can be controlled from a distance of 4 m.

I-VOLUCE

The I-VOLUCE is an integrated three-dimensional sensing technology, which is driven by a smart gesture control software, called WIN&I, which can be used in a large number of applications. Windows 7 and many other applications respond to gestures.

The WIN&I (version 1.0) is capable of detecting user’s gestures that are done in front of the display. The Evoluce TWO 46 inch has features such as multi touch sensing and gesture control and displays it on a full High Definition horizontal LCD screen. This is driven by the MIM 3.0 multitouch software that is capable of detecting finger input from 6 users at the same time. The LCD display is very slim having a depth of only 18.5 cm, hence can conveniently fit into the available spaces. It can be installed at offices, exhibitions, gaming zones, museums and medical applications.

Wolfgang Herfurtner the CEO of EVOLUCE is of the opinion that direct interactive interfaces like I-VOLUCE are bound to radically change the way we interact with PC’s and consumer electronics.
