Endevco’s Acoustic Sensors for Automotive and Industrial Applications

A new Endevco instrumentation and acoustic sensors range has been recently launched by Meggitt Sensing Systems, a division of the Meggitt group.

Endevco High Performance Surface Mount Accelerometer

These products have been designed for use in wind tunnel testing, appliance noise evaluation, cabin noise, automotive NVH, vibro-acoustic testing, and various important noise and sound measurement applications.

The 1/8”, ¼”, and ½” diameter prepolarized condenser measurement microphones from Endevco are available in pressure, free field, random incidence and low cost array incidence categories and can be utilized for meeting ANSI and IEC standards.

Array microphones provide a reduced overall per channel measurement expense and are compatible directly with ISOTRON signal conditioning. These microphones can be utilized as drop in replacements in current accelerometer test system set ups to facilitate precision noise measurements as required. These microphone models can be bought in a low noise amplifier and microphone combination having on-board iTEDS memory storage features or as standalone units, for utilization in larger channel count applications. These microphones are made with a stainless steel grid case and housing for protection along with a unique diaphragm made of stainless steel for high dependability in a broad range of application requirements.

An entire range of handheld calibrators, low noise ISOTRON preamplifiers as well as accessories are available for use with the Endevco precision measurement microphones.
