Manufacturer of semiconductor based system solutions such as MEMS-based acceleration and optical sensors, microsystems, mixed signal ASICs and optoelectronic systems, headquartered in Dortmund, Germany, Elmos has announced that it will reveal the latest semiconductors and advanced sensors at the 2012 'electronica China 2012' trade fair to be held from 20 - 22, March at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center at stand 3370 at hall 3.
At the trade fair, Elmos will display technology centered on applications used in building technology, industrial applications and vehicles. Elmos will display actuators, networks and ICs designed for motor drivers, current sensors, assist systems and gesture control.
The digital ultrasonic range detector IC, E524.03 requires a single transceiver for obstacle detection required in parking assist system. The IC stands apart due to its high sensitivity and low noise signal acquisition. It is capable of supporting transducer frequencies lying between 40 and 58 kHz. Till date, over 200 million ICs have been supplied by Elmos for parking assist systems.
The E524.50 sensor, based on anisotropic magneto-resistive effect (AMR) provides contactless and galvanically-isolated impulse currents, AC and DC measurement. It is ideal for monitoring of power inverters and electric motor controls.
The E520.01 is ideal for motor stalling detection, diagnostics and safety functions. It can drive a maximum of three unipolar stepper motors. The E909.06 sensor in the HALIOS system allows for proximity and gestures control in HMI applications such as on/off switching, z-axis zoom function and gesture-controlled direction.
