The Piranha4 series integrates the latest innovations in Teledyne DALSA's CMOS image sensor technology with exceptional signal-to-noise ratio for high speed inspection. The camera has excellent color version that allows large format web inspection and automatic optical inspection of flat panel displays, printed material, electronics, solar cells, and film.

The Piranha4 Color uses the unique CMOS bilinear line scan technology of Teledyne DALSA with on-chip ADC and on-chip CDS. It provides low read noise and high full well capacity for achieving better dynamic range when deployed for challenging applications.

The P4 8k Color camera is packed with programmability features such as flat field correction, exposure control, gain setting, color correction, and white balance. Eliminating the need for optical lens adjustments, special algorithms facilitate defocusing capability in flat field correction and white balancing. Furthermore, the setup, control, and integration features of camera have been simplified with an advanced GenICam compliant interface.

The Piranha4 line scan series encompasses 1k, 2k, 4k, and 8k resolutions having CMOS dual line scan technology-based pixel sizes.
