Teleste Corporation has received a video management, transmission and recording solution order for tunnels and stations of Länsimetro from Stanley Security Oy. Länsimetro is building the extension for metro traffic in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area from Ruoholahti, Helsinki to Matinkylä, Espoo.
The order includes products from the product families of Teleste VMX Video Management Software, MPX Encoder and CFO Fiber Modem as well as technical integration and configuration services related to the video system.
Teleste’s video management system is already installed at Helsinki Underground in all existing stations. This order will further expand the system for a better protection of the public against crime and potential terrorism as well as help to run smooth operation of the underground traffic.
The system deliveries are expected to be completed during 2014 and the order value is approximately 1.3 million euros.
