Announcement of Eterna™ - New Platform to Wirelessly Power the Internet of Things (IoT)

Humavox recently announced Eterna™,  a new platform to wirelessly power the Internet of Things (IoT), especially medical and wearable devices such as hearing aids, smartwatches and augmented reality (AR) glasses.

As a provider of innovative new wireless charging solutions, Humavox aims to transform the traditional and restrictive methods of charging devices that burden consumers with a collection of wires and systems that take up valuable time and space. Experts spent more than three years developing this technology to provide consumers with a seamless charging experience and give manufacturers an accessible platform to integrate wireless charging.

  • Humavox’s Eterna™ is an elastic platform technology allowing device manufacturers to rapidly integrate Humavox's distinct wireless charging enablement.  Eterna™ consists of:
  • NEST™ Station - a design-free power station that smart-charges devices put inside it, with no placement or orientation inhibitions

ThunderLink™ - Humavox's wireless charging enabler that integrates with a device in a variety of technologies, from PCB and Hybrid solution to full ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) setting virtually no engineering and integration efforts

“There are so many different types of devices that require charging through individual USB power cords or other charging methods, many of which are becoming very small and complex in shape,” said Omri Lachman, co-founder and CEO of Humavox. “We’re providing OEMs with a solution that enables all types of devices to be charged wirelessly in a convenient and effective way that doesn’t sacrifice performance. With Humavox, there is no longer a need for wires, flat surfaces or precise placement onto power-charging mats – it’s as simple as putting a device of any shape or size into a box.”

By using radio frequencies (RF), Humavox has eliminated the need for wires and the restrictions of inductive charging. Humavox’s NEST provides users with a fast, efficient and seamless charging experience. Additionally, the company’s ThunderLink enables any manufacturer to intuitively integrate wireless charging with any product, further enhancing the capabilities and applications of wireless charging. Humavox’s technology transmits RFs over a broad band of frequency waves and converts it to voltage to wirelessly charge the battery.

Humavox's NEST station system creates a confined charging space, efficiently controlling energy transfer by transmitting energy only to the devices under charge. NEST™ allows multiple devices to charge simultaneously, while constantly monitoring and adjusting the charging process for ultimate compliance with the device's power requirements. NEST™ was intentionally crafted to be a design-free solution, hence has no predefined industrial design. This approach is meant to allow any platform user to maintain brand identity, determine its own charger look and feel, set of features, and charging user-experience.
