New Carbon Monoxide Gas Sensor from Sierra Monitor

Sierra Monitor Corporation has introduced a new, advanced 5100-04-IT carbon monoxide gas sensor for industrial safety applications.

The 5100-04-IT uses a smart sensor technology that offers users a number of benefits. For instance, the gas sensor is available in various output combinations such as SMC Sentry digital bus interface, serial RS-485 Modbus RTU interface and 4-20 mA.

The 5100-04-IT is user-friendly and has an 8-character LED display with simple menus. The sensor is reliable and SIL-2 Certified and also contains optional features such as 2 A trouble alarm relay and 8 A integral alarm relays. The gas sensor is available in 318 Stainless Steel or cast aluminum enclosures and needs calibration every six months.

Sierra Monitor has installed over 14,000 gas monitoring systems and has more than two decades of experience in this field. The company has also designed the first web-based graphical system to monitor dangerous gas conditions.
