FRACTAL Releases Unobtrusive dBMax Indoor Aerial Antenna

Fractal Antenna Systems (‘FRACTAL’) today announced the full production release of its latest DAS solution: the dBMax™ antenna. This unobtrusive indoor aerial provides full omni performance from 698-6000 MHz, while its tiny size is designed with building owners and architects in mind.

Far smaller than a coffee cup, the rugged antennas's textured radome has a pleasing compactness. Inside, the dBMax™ antenna combines three proprietary FRACTAL innovations: fractal folded elements, fractal metamaterials, and 3D antenna printing. With no electronic components, and advantages afforded by fractal shapes, the dBMax™ antenna offers wideband performance on par with conventional antennas many times larger.

Notes FRACTAL’s CEO Nathan Cohen: “Fractals are beautiful, yet the real beauty is the tiniest antenna profile from the cool innovations inside. End-users don’t want to see antennas and FRACTAL hears end-users loud and clear. The dBMax™ antenna is as small as you can get and still have the performance needed in our wireless world.”

The dBMax™ antenna uses a central screw-on mount and N connector with a short cable, for easy and quick installation. The dBMax™ antenna is available now in lots of 10 or more.
