RF Technologies® Launches New Reusable, Infection-Resistant Sensor Pads

RF Technologies®, a leading provider of radio frequency identification (RFID) healthcare safety and security solutions, announced today the release of new products for their Sensatec® Fall Management Solution, enhancing safety to patients in hospitals and rehabilitation facilities and residents in senior living communities.

World's First Long-life, Waterproof, Reusable Bed and Chair Pads for Fall Management

The newly launched products include long-life, waterproof, reusable bed and chair sensor pads. The first-ever antimicrobial and reusable sensor pads can be used for multiple residents or patients up to a year. These sensor pads connect with a universal 4-pin connector compatible with all 600 Series Sensatec alarm units as well as most other alarms currently on the market.*

The reusable pads are made of non-slip, latex-free, antimicrobial materials that can be completely submerged and cleaned with germicidal bleach-type solutions for optimal infection control.

"I like the new reusable, infection-resistant pads from RF Technologies - they work well for our facility and the great price will help us save money, which we always like," said Lynn Zeman, Tudor Oaks Retirement Community, Muskego, Wisc.

"We are very excited to introduce this new range of antimicrobial, waterproof, reusable pads, which we believe will be the trend-setter in the fall management industry," said Evelyn Ong, VP of Channel Sales & Marketing, Sensatec. "Not only can our customers provide a higher level of care for their residents, it helps them create substantial savings for facilities as well. This is the kind of innovation that stems from attentiveness to our customers' voices that they can continue to expect from us."

This new range of products is an addition to the existing innovative and comprehensive list of products from Sensatec Fall Management Solution. The restraint-free product line support facilities' fall reduction programs help cut costs and reduce liability.
