The S2M force transducer available from HBM has been specifically designed for measuring static and dynamic compressive and tensile forces. The transducer has a high accuracy class of 0.02 and can be used in a wide range of applications, whether in production monitoring, materials testing, or functional testing of components.
With IP67 degree of protection, the S2M force transducer offers reliable and safe measurement results even in challenging environments. It provides excellent specifications in terms of temperature behavior, hysteresis error, and linearity.
The built-in mechanical overload stops enable specification of a breaking load of up to 1000% of its nominal (rated) force in a compressive and tensile direction.
In addition, seven force measuring ranges from 0 to 1000 N are available with similar geometric dimensions. This helps in reducing design cost as well as component variety when integrating into the respective system.
