Flow Measurement in Bypass Configuration Using Pressure Sensors

Sensirion has expanded its proven SDP600 series with the addition of new differential pressure sensors. The SDP601 and SDP611 sensors are specially calibrated for measuring mass flow in a bypass configuration. A bypass configuration is ideal for those applications where differential pressures must be calculated with high precision or where individually adapted flow channels are important.

The CMOSens differential pressure sensors operate on the principle of calorimetric flow measurement and achieve excellent sensitivity and precision even at very low pressure differences. They provide a digital I2C output and are fully calibrated and temperature compensated.

The SDP611 is designed for tube connection, whilst the SDP601 is designed for direct threaded connection to a pressure manifold with O-ring sealing. The sensors are free from zero-point drift and have long-term stability.
