The DJI Zenmuse XT is a highly-integrated thermal imaging solution, specifically designed for commercial drones. The camera is stable, precise, highly responsive, and makes thermal imaging from the air much easier.
The Zenmuse XT combines DJI’s expertise in gimbal technology, flight stability, and image transmission with FLIR’s proven thermal imaging technology. The Zenmuse XT comes in 336 × 256 or 640 × 512 resolutions, and it has different lens options to ensure that users have the right combination of magnification, situational awareness, spot size, and area coverage to suit their specific needs.
Through the DJI Go app, the Zenmuse XT has complete camera control, providing users with real-time configuration of camera controls, including selection of color palette, level and span adjustment, isotherms, zoom etc. The thermal imager also allows users to control their still image capture or video recording settings with just the press of a finger. This enables seamless recording of the required thermal data.
The Zenmuse XT can be mounted either on the Matrice 100 or the Inspire 1, and can be launched in a matter of seconds. Its flawless integration gives users easy access to key features such as; DJI’s Lightbridge video transmission system, Follow Me, Course and Home Lock, automated Point of Interest, and the DJI SDK.
The Inspire 1, with fast, stable and efficient airframes, keeps the Zenmuse XT in the air for a period of 22 minutes. If the Zenmuse XT is used with the Matrice 100, it can remain in flight for up to 35 minutes, making it suitable for large-scale inspections and useful in search and rescue operations.
