The MultiXplo DG-TX7 intelligent catalytic sensor based flammable gas detector is used to detect numerous gases, including hydrogen (H2). The device is easy to install, operate and maintain in testing environments.
The MultiXplo DG-TX7 is provided with a pair of OXYCOL catalytic sensors in a compensated circuitry in order to provide reliable flammable gas detection in extreme environments, as long as oxygen is available. The intelligent microprocessor driven unit is completely configurable using a wireless handheld terminal (TLU) or optionally via HART offering true flexibility to the installer.
Parameters such as alarm levels and relay operation are all set via the TLU; a hazardous area approved hand-held unit. Furthermore, the sensor element is protected by the onboard electronics to prevent contact with over-range LEL gas concentrations. This helps minimize on-going maintenance and service costs.
Users can choose between 4-20 and 0-22mA depending on system needs. The unit may be interfaced directly with a variety of controllers, panels and PLCs etc.
Device status, including measured gas level is specified on a color coded four-digit LED display.
