CO2 Sensor - CM1106

Introduction

The CM1106 is a single beam NDIR CO2 sensor from Cubic, based on non-dispersive infrared technology with autonomous intellectual property, which can detect CO2 concentration of indoor air. With high accuracy, small size, and long-term stability, it is extensively used in ventilation system, air conditioner with purifying function, air purifier, HVAC transmitter, desktop IAQ monitor, etc.

The CM1106 is single beam single wavelength sensor combined with one sensitive component and one narrowband filter lenses. The sensor can calibrate itself with automatic background calibration. The sensor will take the last CO2 reading as the zero point (400 ppm) within several days. In ventilated environment, the least CO2 concentration is nearly 400 ppm. One of the most essential environments for automatic background calibration is fresh air.

In this case, the CM1106 is recommended to be used in a ventilation system, air conditioner with purifying function, indoor air quality monitor/detector, and automotive where there is fresh air.
