3D Level Sensor: 3DLS M or MV

The 3DLevelScanner from BinMaster is the only level sensor with the ability to measure several points on the surface of a material, offering continuous, non-contact inventory volume measurement that accounts for irregular material topography. This sophisticated acoustics-based technology is established to operate in powders and bulk solids housed in silos, bins, warehouses, domes, as well as open bunkers and piles. The unique 3D mapping potential offers a visual illustration of bin contents, detecting cone up or down and also sidewall accumulation.

  • Tanks, bin, and silos where the surface of the material has uneven topography
  • Ideal for granulars, pellets, powders, and most other bulk solids
  • Ethanol, bioenergy, and power plants
  • Finds application in seed, feed, grain, and food processing
  • Metals and mining
  • Cement and aggregates
  • Paper, pulp, and wood pellets
  • Plastics manufacturing and chemical processing

  • Measures irregular powder or solid material surfaces
  • Non-contact and continuous measurement
  • Offers maximum, minimum, and average distances
  • Detects cone up, cone down, and sidewall accumulation
  • Computes bin volume with high accuracy
  • Operates in severe levels of dust
  • Self-cleaning with less maintenance
  • Communications include Modbus RTU, 4-20/HART, RS-485, and TCP/IP
  • Measuring range up to 200 feet

  • Measuring range: 200 feet (61 m)
