The TeraRanger Evo Thermal from Terabee delivers a 32x32 pixel resolution to track temperature differences and hot spots in an environment. The unit is designed on Terabee’s modular Evo sensor series and comprises two lightweight Thermal sensor modules:
- TeraRanger Evo Thermal 90: Users can acquire wide 90º Field-of-View for larger area coverage
- TeraRanger Evo Thermal 33: Users can acquire longer range and a more comprehensive thermal image with a 33º Field of View
The modular two-part design of Evo sensors allows rapid testing and prototyping with a range of interfaces including UART, USB, and I2C. Users just need to clip-on their desired interface backboard to any Evo sensor. No extra calibration is needed as the sensors stream factory calibrated temperature values in decikelvin.

Plug and Play Compatibility
The Evo sensor can be connected to a PC to carry out rapid tests using the USB backboard within a short span of time. A graphical user interface is also provided for testing and demonstration requirements or configuring certain standard sensor parameters.
For example, users can fix custom temperature parameters for tracking temperature differences in the camera’s pixel field. When the thresholds are broken, an alarm is triggered to inform the user about an increase or decrease of temperature.
