Evo Sensors Are Modular by Design
Evo sensors comprise a thermographic or optoelectronic sensing device (black module) and an interface board (yellow module) to enable power and communications. The black and the yellow parts just need to be clipped together to make a full sensing unit. USB, I2C, and UART interface boards can be ordered. All interface boards are provided with a cable (UART or USB) enabling direct connectivity to the host unit.
Plug and Play Compatibility
TeraRanger Evo 60 m’s exclusive modular design facilitates simple plug and play integration into a range of platforms, including ROS, Raspberry Pi, Pixhawk, Odroid, Arduino, etc.
The Evo sensor can be connected to a PC to carry out rapid tests using the USB Backboard within a short span of time. A graphical user interface is also provided for demonstration requirements allowing users to stream distance data in millimeters.
Build Android Applications with Terabee’s Technology
Terabee’s Android SDK offers an easy way to communicate with Terabee sensors on an Android system. The SDK supports the sensor models listed below via a USB interface:
- TeraRanger Multiflex
- TeraRanger Evo 64px
- TeraRanger Evo 60M
- TeraRanger Evo 3M
The SDK can auto-detect the type of sensor that is linked to a device.
To link the sensor to an Android system, users will require a USB OTG cable and a USB backboard for each sensor.
