A2L Refrigerant Gas Sensor | CRG Series

Refrigerant gas sensor solutions from Cubic primarily target A2L mixtures, such as R32, R1234yf gas and pure hydrocarbons in the blend.

These sensors calculate air volume concentration of the refrigerant gas, comparing this to avoidance thresholds, LFL (Lower Flammability Limit) or LEL (Lower Explosion Limits).

Should these limits be reached, the sensor solutions are able to output an alert or directly trigger appropriate mitigation and shut-down procedures.

The sensors’ use of non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology helps deliver higher accuracy and longer lifespans. They have also been developed for use with standard gas and are factory calibrated using Cubic’s in-house gas sensor calibration technology.
