The Tiger handheld VOC gas detector is an innovative handheld, portable PID instrument for the fast and precise detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
ION’s handheld VOC gas detector is comprised of ION Science patented photoionization detection (PID) sensor technology combined with humidity resistance and anti-contamination design, which is known to prolong run time in the field.
The Tiger handheld VOC gas detector offers a dynamic detection range of 0 to 20,000 parts per million (ppm) with a reduced sensitivity of 0.001 ppm (1 ppb).
Compared with any other VOC detector on the market, the Tiger handheld delivers the most extensive measurement range possible. The rapid response time of just two seconds is the fastest on the market, and the clear down is just as quick.
Tiger has been developed with the safe replacement of batteries in hazardous environments in mind. Long-life rechargeable Li-ion batteries offer up to 24 hours of use. Rapid battery charging enables the instrument to reach a full charge in 6.5 hours, while just 1.5 hours of charge can provide 8 hours of use.
Other instruments in the Tiger range of handheld VOC gas detectors include the low-cost Tiger LT and the Tiger Select for total aromatic compounds, including benzene.
