The OTG-M series (OTG-M170, OTG-M220, OTG-M360, OTG-M420, OTG-M600, OTG-MPK5, and OTG-MPK8) fiber optic temperature sensors from OpSens provides excellent performance. These sensors use a tried-and-tested method of temperature transduction depending on the temperature-dependent bandgap of GaAs crystal.
It is practical for tip measurement applications because of the small sensing GaAs crystal that is located at the optical fiber’s tip. The response time and the sensor’s diameter (OD) is unique to each model of the OTG-M series.
