The OTG-M Series of fiber optic temperature sensors from OpSens (OTG-M170, OTG-M220, OTG-M360, OTG-M420, OTG-M600, OTG-MPK5, and OTG-MPK8) delivers exceptional performance. The OTG-M Series sensors employ a tried-and-tested method of temperature transduction based on the temperature-dependent bandgap of Gallium Arsinide (GaAs) crystal.

This sensor type is practical for tip measurement applications because of the minicule GaAs crystal positioned at the tip of an optical fiber. The response time and the sensor’s diameter (OD) are what make each model of the OTG-M series unique.

The OTG-M Series provides unprecedented repeatability and reliability in the toughest conditions, such as high levels of EM, RF, MR, and microwave field environments, when combined with OpSens' SCBG signal conditioning technology and the benefits of measuring using light.

The OTG-M Series is manufactured using optical fiber that is industry standard and works with all SCBG signal conditioners from OpSens. This small and dependable fiber optic temperature sensor may be customized for OEM or customer-specific applications and comes with a variety of optical cables and sheath choices.
