The SMP22 is the most accurate and reliable pyranometer in the industry. It is an ISO 9060:2018 Spectrally Flat Class A pyranometer that blends the latest electronic interface with quartz domes and sensor technology from the CMP22, which has a proven track record of decades.

The SMP22 offers the broadest spectrum range along with enhanced directional response and fewer thermal offsets. The directional inaccuracy is reduced to below 5 W/m2 due to the finest optical quality domes. The RS-485 Modbus® interface and a five-year warranty are included with every SMP22.

The SMP22 requires very little maintenance as it contains an internal desiccant that will last for a minimum of ten years. By adding the CVF4 ventilation unit to SMP22, the interval between dome cleanings can be prolonged, and measurement quality increased.

The SMP22 features a digital interface, enhanced analog output, faster reaction times, and temperature-corrected unique measurement data. The SMP22 is supplied with individual measured cosine response data. Incorporation in meteorological and solar energy systems is simple due to the wide and low power supply range of 5 to 30 VDC.

The SMP22 has a five-year warranty and is incredibly durable.

Exchanging instruments for recalibration is easy thanks to the standardized output and connections of every SMP22. SmartExplorer Windows software for data logging, display of data and Modbus® address setting is provided as standard.
