Sensirion’s STS4xA automotive-grade digital temperature sensor series is extremely dependable. The series now has two versions: STS41A-AD1B and STS41A-AW1B, with the latter featuring optional wettable flank packing to assist automated optical inspection (AOI). Furthermore, the integrated on-chip heater provides improved on-board diagnosis (OBD).
Sensirion’s CMOSens® Technology and vast experience in temperature sensing are at the heart of the sensor platform, which benefits from the company’s well-established technical knowledge. The low-cost STS4xA has an I2C interface and a wide supply voltage range of 2.3–5.5 V.
The STS4xA can be readily integrated into various automotive applications due to its small size and four-pin dual-flat no-leads (DFN) packaging.It satisfies industrial standards such as 85°C/85%RH accelerated life testing. (s)
