Hamamatsu Photonics launched its new series of 2D InGaAs image sensors, G11097-0606S for industrial purposes. It features laser beam analysis and thermal imaging in a low resolution range. It also detects infrared images of in house and exotic objects.
The sensor is fabricated with a series of InGaAs photodiode which is back-illuminated and a CMOS readout integrated circuit (ROIC) which are in turn coupled using indium. A time engine is added to the ROIC for easy proceedings. The sensor presents synchronized charge assimilation and a video data scale with 5MHz.
The G11097-0606S has 50 ìm x 50ìm pixels with better linearity in the infrared region ranging from 0.95ìm to 1.7ìm. To lessen the intense current and to enhance the signal-noise proportion for more precise imaging, a single phased thermoelectric cooler is equipped with it.
