Sensors Expo + Conference to Showcase Advanced MEMS Solutions

MEMS Industry Group announced that it will display its microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) at the Sensors Expo & Conference to be held in Rosemont, Illinois from 6 to 8 June 2011. The event brings advanced technologies and latest products in sensors.

Sensors Expo & Conference’s Event Director, Beth Torrey, stated that the company has collaborated with MEMS Industry Group to exhibit a range of MEMS products as well as offering conference meetings at the expo. Torrey added that engineering professionals will attend the event to view next-generation sensing technologies and MEMS has become one of the most popular segments in sensors.

Sessions will include High-Performance MEMS in the Sensing World, Micro and Nano Technologies for Smart Systems Integration and MEMS Sensors Integration into Mobile Operating Systems, to name a few.

MEMS Industry Group’s Managing Director, Karen Lightman, stated that the company is happy to collaborate with Sensors Expo to promote awareness about the latest advancements in MEMS infrastructure. Lightman informed that industry experts will provide information on how MEMS is catering to clean energy, healthcare, biomedical, automotive and consumer applications. Experts will also discuss about MEMS supply chain that provides system-level parts without performance threats, production time or cost associated with the earlier supply chain.
