With the addition of Instrument Systems product portfolio, including the robust CAS series array spectrometers, Konica Minolta Sensing maintains a well-balanced portfolio including LED test and measurement technology for production environments. The CAS 140CT, already in its 3rd generation, is the most successful array spectrometer from Instrument Systems worldwide. This instrument combines high accuracy with an opto-mechanically robust design and simple operation.

The CAS 140CT has several impressive features, including:

  • High-end, cooled, back-Illuminated CCD detector for highest sensitivity and signal stability
  • Wide intensity measurement range via integrated optical density filter wheel
  • Integrated shutter for dark current measurements
  • Acquisition times in the millisecond range
  • Optional USB or PCI interface
  • Software solutions for laboratory and manufacturing applications

"Equipped with the CAS array spectrometers in our product line-up, we are working with our North American client base in supporting unique turnkey systems, expanding our technology capabilities, and creating the ideal opportunity to provide additional solutions for our customers," said Randy Klimek, Regional Sales Manager Radiometric Products, Konica Minolta Sensing, Americas. "The CAS 140CT array spectrometer sets the standard for accuracy and reliability in spectral measurements of today's light sources. Whether employed in national laboratories or in the production line the CAS series is the first choice where precision of measurement is required."

Early 2014, Konica Minolta Sensing Americas will showcase Instrument Systems products and solutions at industry trade shows and exhibitions. Product demonstrations will be held during Strategies in Light in Santa Clara, CA from February 25-27, 2014 at booth #310.
