PSV-500 Xtra Scanning Vibrometer for Optical Sensitivity and Quicker Analysis

In order to develop high-quality products, reliable test data is required to validate computer simulations in a rapid manner and to determine the deflection shapes.

With the upgrade to Xtra, the well-established Polytec PSV-500 and PSV-500-3D vibrometers can achieve much higher levels of optical sensitivity for faster analysis and more reliable measurement data. The new optical sensor technology offers an eight times stronger signal level than before, providing more meaningful data, particularly from challenging surfaces.

The PSV-500 Xtra from Polytec helps to conduct faster measurements and leads to faster analysis and greater efficiency. The instrument can also enable a larger stand-off distance from the measuring object. This enables object scanning in a single shot from a safe and convenient distance, minimizing the time typically taken for repositioning the scanning heads. Upgrading to Xtra offers users more efficient product developments than previously possible.
