Delta-T’s Soil Moisture Sensor for Agricultural and Research Applications

Delta-T Devices has released the SM300, a high quality soil moisture sensor that is stable over broad salinity and temperature ranges and provides excellent performance for saline and normal soil conditions.

Delta T SM300 Sensor

The SM300 is made of high specification materials and industrial grade connectors, resulting in a high quality soil moisture sensor.

The in-built temperature sensor achieves an accuracy of ±0.5°C and simplifies the measurement of soil temperature. It provides ±2.5% research grade accuracy for measurement of water content. It is ideal for agricultural and research applications as it is engineered for high performance and dependability.

This dual purpose probe can be utilized along with a data logger for continual monitoring in-situ or for instant readings with the HH2 meter.

As compared to its earlier version its improvements include enhanced accuracy of ±2.5%, sturdy M12 connectors and cabling a temperature sensor and white body for reducing solar heating effects.
