8-Channel Oven Data Logger for Oven Temperature Profiling

Oven temperature profiling is crucial to consistently produce a quality product. Profiling allows users to improve their method, establish process control, and perform corrections to a process when needed.

The OM-CP-OCTTHERMOVAULT consists of eight channels and is a battery powered, thermally insulated, oven temperature recorder that has the ability to withstand elevated temperatures. When properly sealed, this temperature recorder can withstand oven temperatures of up to 350 ºC (662 ºF) for up to 25 minutes.

The thermal properties and stainless steel enclosure of the device make it the perfect temperature recording device for applications such as wet coating cure ovens, conveyor ovens, powder coating cure ovens, and batch ovens.

The external thermocouple probes provide accurate temperature measurements with quick response times. OMEGA’s user-friendly software downloads the data to a computer easily, where the readings can be displayed in degrees Fahrenheit, degrees Celsius, Rankine, or Kelvin.

The software enables the user to view either a range of data points or all data points and a summary of the data being viewed for calculations such as MKT (Mean Kinetic Temperature). If further analysis of the data has to be conducted, the data can be exported easily to Excel® by just clicking a button.

The retrieval of data is easy. When the device is plugged into an existing COM port, the easy-to-use software performs all of the tasks. The software helps to transform a PC into a real-time strip chart recorder. It is possible to print the data in tabular and graphical format. Data can also be exported to Microsoft Excel or a text file.
