OTG-M3000: GaAs-Based Fiber Optic Temperature Sensor

The OTG-M series (OTG-M170, OTG-M220, OTG-M360, OTG-M420, OTG-M600, OTG-MPK5, and OTG-MPK8) fiber optic temperature sensors from OpSens provides excellent performance. These sensors use a tried-and-tested method of temperature transduction depending on the temperature-dependent bandgap of GaAs crystal.

It is practical for tip measurement applications because of the small sensing GaAs crystal that is located at the optical fiber’s tip. The response time and the sensor’s diameter (OD) is unique to each model of the OTG-M series.

The OTG-M provides unmatched repeatability and reliability, even in the harshest of conditions such as EM, RF, MR, and microwave field environments, with the inherent benefits of fiber optic sensing.
