The OTG-M Series sensors utilize a well-proven method, which relies on the temperature-dependent bandgap of GaAs crystal as the temperature transduction mechanism. The small sensing GaAs crystal, which is adhered at the tip of the optical fiber, makes it ideal for performing tip measurement applications.

The response time, material selection, and the diameter of the sensor (OD) are what sets each model of the OTG-M series apart from one another.

Integrated with OpSens SCBG (Semiconductor Bandgap) signal conditioning technology and with the characteristic benefits of fiber optic, the OTG-M Series provides unparalleled repeatability and reliability in the majority of adverse conditions like high levels of EM, RF, MR, and microwave field surroundings.

The OTG-M Series are made using the industry-standard optical fiber and is also compatible with all OpSens SCBG signal conditioners. This strong and compact fiber-optic temperature sensor comes with various optical cables and sheath choices, and it can also be tailored for OEM-type applications or customer-specific applications.
