Tradeshow Talks with Posital Fraba - SENSOR+TEST 2018

Tradeshow Talks with Posital Fraba

Can you tell us why you are at Sensor and Test this year?

We are at Sensor and Test to present our energy harvesting technology. We are calling this our Wiegand Sensor Component, which can be integrated into many different applications. Initially, this technology assisted with the positioning for our encoders, but we know that there are lots of other applications that it can be used in.

The basics of the technology is a Wiegand sensor with a Wiegand wire inside.  This Wiegand wire generates a process which changes the magnetic fields. This is a very stable and controllable process. We can give repeatable results of the energy generation without any additional battery back-up, or power supply.

What makes your products unique?

There's no other suppliers that can provide this product with the quality that we are delivering. We can fully design and control the manufacturing process of these sensors, including the Wiegand wire itself, which is the core of this technology.

Which Industries will benefit from your products?

We are servicing many different types of industries. We have applications from medical equipment to military offshore applications. We believe this sensor can be easily implemented into many new industries, for example industries which want to use the advantages of IoT.
