Please tell us a little bit about Madison Company and why you are attending Sensors Expo & Conference 2018.

Madison Company has been around for over 50 years. We manufacture float switches, and liquid level sensors, which are still made in the United States. We provide customers with comprehensive liquid level management solution.

Is there a particular product that you are showcasing this year?

We offer a broad range of standard products to clients that need quick and cost-effective solutions. We also offer a lot of customization, so we are showing our whole product range at the show today. This includes everything from reed switch based float switches, up to ultrasonic & radar sensors that will continuously measure liquids without contact.

We want to help customers  optimize their systems by managing their fluid levels  for them with our sensors.

What application areas do your sensors cover?

Our sensors work in many applications, from medical equipment and coffee makers, to fat food fryers, which heat up to 250 °C. We are one of the larger manufacturers of float switches & fluid level sensors that can be installed in extreme  environments, under intense conditions.

What do you think makes your products unique?

Part of what makes them unique is the fact that the sensors are designed to withstand different and extreme environmental conditions. We begin by understanding our customers’ needs & applications first.

We also cover a wide range of sensors, from lower cost plastics up to the higher cost stainless steels  that are used in durable equipment for industrial applications. We service the whole board.

What are you hoping to achieve at Sensors Expo & Conference 2018?

We would like to see what is out there, and  understand new customers’ needs so we  remain competitive. We would also like to meet with customers that are looking to build systems that manage fluids, so that we can help them  manage their fluid systems more effectively.
