The Grabner IRV Pro is a compact and durable FTIR fuel analyzer designed to comprehensively and automatically measure gasoline, jet, and diesel fuels.
The device can measure more than 100 fuel parameters and components, making it suitable for monitoring fuel blending, quality inspection, and checking compliance with fuel specifications directly at the point of sale.
100+ Preconfigured Parameters Measured
The analyzer performs compound analysis according to international standards such as ASTM D5845 for oxygenates, ASTM D6277 and EN 238 for Benzene, and EN 14078 for Biodiesel blends. It features a built-in density meter for exact determination of fuel density.
Properties such as Octane and Cetane Number, Distillation, and Vapor Pressure are automatically determined using the full IR spectrum via Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis and advanced chemometric models that follow ASTM E1655. The platform uses thousands of data points to ensure high prediction accuracy.
Data Based on Real Samples Collected and Analyzed by SGS®
The IRV Pro uses calibration data that adheres to the strictest quality standards to ensure the accuracy of its predicted properties. It is also uniquely equipped with a database of samples collected and analyzed by SGS.
Robust for Field Use
The IRV Pro is durable and portable, making it well-suited for field testing. It is equipped with Grabner’s robust and easy to maintain peristaltic pump-based filling system and is protected by a shock- and vibration-tested Vision platform architecture.
The instrument is fitted with a double interferometer with a self-aligning mirror system that automatically corrects any intensity shifts to maintain accuracy, even after a bumpy drive. A durable, 10-inch full-color industrial touchscreen makes the IRV Pro easy to use and read from, even in challenging environments. For on-the-go use, it can be powered with a 12 V car adapter.
