The ThermoView TV40 is a high-performance industrial fixed thermal imaging system that enables users to enhance their knowledge by offering continuous infrared and visual feeds to visualize temperature data. The TV40 provides a completely integrated temperature control, monitoring and data archiving solution.

As the integration can be personalized, TV40 enables the user to automate the process by programing unlimited “areas of interest,” programable alarms, use robust pass/fail logic and carry out safety or asset inspections. The data can be fed to the PLC or the feeds can be viewed remotely.

Hardware

The rugged TV40 thermal camera enables the visualization of temperature data anywhere in the process with reliable, high-quality 320 × 240 and 640 × 480 infrared resolution options. Some of the major features are:

  • Simultaneous infrared and visible sighting for effortless alignment and the capability to rapidly identify potential problems
  • The multiple pre-calibrated lenses are field interchangeable with remote motorized focus. This enables the user to change the thermal camera lenses on-site without the need for additional calibration
  • IP67 (NEMA 4) housing guarantees continuous thermal imaging in the harshest environments (air purge and other accessories are also available)
  • The presence of GigE Vision, Standard I/O modules and other direct communication protocols on infrared cameras allows effortless integration into the already present control system
  • With the Power Over Ethernet, fixed thermal camera can be supported by the existing power switch

Software

With advanced analytical tools, auto-alarming features and more, the intuitive ThermoView software allows the user to take control of multiple parts of the process like never before. Among the key features are:

  • User-configurable and fast setup options for effortless and fast installation without unnecessary downtime
  • Establish alarms or signals that interface to discrete I/O to control the process
  • Customizable Areas of Interest with advanced pass/fail logic. This makes it easier to monitor process temperature, carry out product inspections and more all at once
  • Independent, intermittent, continuous, and/or remote evaluation of temperature conditions so that the user can read temperature data wherever or whenever necessary
  • Automated data recording and archiving to assist with data comparisons for benchmark and process review
