BMRX-100: Mechanical Rotary Level Indicator

The next-generation BMRX-100 is a low-cost approach to monitoring vessel levels in solid materials with bulk densities ranging from 2 lb. to over 100 lb./cu. ft.

The BMRX-100’s simple operation and dependable mechanical design make it perfect for level indication in storage and processing environments where hazloc certification is not required. A continuously turning paddle rotates until it is stopped by material, then closes a relay to indicate a change in status.

Applications

The BMRX-100, similar to other BinMaster rotary devices, is a high-level alert system that prevents vessel overfilling. When mounted near the bottom or in the cone of the vessel, it alerts to low levels to help prevent material shortages that can lead to the shutdown of production processes.

When a full or empty state occurs, the BMRX-100 can be wired to a light or horn to sound an alert. It can also be wired to stop an operation when a vessel is full, such as halting a grain leg or conveyor.

  • Adjustable top mount: The high-level threshold can be adjusted using the coupling that can be moved up and down a 72” shaft.
  • Mounting plates: Carbon and stainless-steel choices in 0° 10°, 20° and 30° angles for mounting on top of sloped roofs.
  • Paddles: With a wide selection of paddles, the BMRX-100 rotary adapts to light, medium, and heavy weight materials. Use one of BinMaster’s collapsible paddles to prevent entering the vessel when you install or replace the rotary. Add a stainless-steel process connection to ensure durability in corrosive or caustic materials.
  • Point level alarm panel: Vessel level conditions are provided through a blinking light and audible alarm with up to 24-0 level indicator stations.
  • Quick disconnect: Hardwiring can be replaced, making it easy to install and remove the rotary for maintenance, cleaning, or replacement.
