Precision folding-cup anemometers are omni-directional with a clever feature: the cups collapse upward for compact storage. The very capable digital DIC-3 provides not only instantaneous velocity, but also highest gust since reset, and average speed over a 2- or 5-minute period. It has four selectable scales: mph, knots, kph, or meters/sec. A 9V bettery (not included) powers the LCD display for up to 70 hours of continuous use.
