BinMaster Adds Hazardous Location Certifications to VRX Vibrating Rod Level Switches

BinMaster has enhanced its line of VRX vibrating rod level sensors with new hazardous location certifications for high-dust environments.

The VRX21, VRX31, VRX41, VRX61, and VRX71 vibrating probe models are now available with C/US Class II, Division 1 approvals for use in hazardous locations where combustible dust may be present.

Designed for dependable point-level detection in powders, flakes, and bulk solids, VRX vibrating probes are ideal for high- and low-level indication, plugged chute detection, and hopper level alerts. The sensors operate reliably despite changes in a material's dielectric constant, density, or environmental humidity.

A standout feature of the VRX series is the integrated light ring status indicator, which provides highly visible, at-a-glance operating status. The illuminated ring improves inventory visibility and simplifies replenishment by allowing operators and maintenance personnel to see the material level from the plant floor and quickly identify if the sensor is covered or uncovered.

VRX vibrating rod level switches are especially effective in lightweight powders and fluffy flakes with bulk densities as low as 1.25 pounds per cubic foot. The sensors' rugged design and reliable operation make them well-suited for industries handling powders, granular materials, pellets, and other dry bulk solids.

BinMaster offers extensive customization options for the VRX product family, including flexible or rigid extensions, high-temperature probes, sanitary process fittings, round vibrating rods, and vibrating fork configurations to meet a wide range of application requirements.

The entire line of newly certified vibrating rod level switches can now be viewed and quoted online through the new BinMaster website.
