New Version of RoBoCar with Sensing Devices from ZMP

ZMP has launched the second Electric Robot Car having an innovative autonomous system. Its first version was announced in February 2010.

RoboCar

This advanced electric robot car features a sequence of sensing devices with an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), speed sensor,Stereo camera, and laser range finders. The RoBoCar has the efficiency to travel without requiring any drovers with a high accuracy of about 1cm to 2cm.

Three varied models of the RoBo Car MEV can be obtained encompassing a drive-by-wire version having automatic speed adaptability called Unit A; Steer-by-wire version having automatic steering functionality, named Unit B and a brake-by-wire featuring stereo camera, IMU and Steer-by-Wire configuration.
